Morning Devotion: Stepping Into the Week with God

Today’s memory verse:
“In the morning, Lord, You hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before You and wait expectantly.” — Psalm 5:3

Reflection:
Sunday begins a new rhythm of life, a fresh entry into the week ahead. It is a moment to pause before momentum builds, to anchor your heart before responsibilities rise.

God invites you to begin not with stress or planning alone but with His presence. When the week starts with prayer, it starts with direction. When it starts with surrender, it starts with peace.

This is a day to dedicate your steps before you take them, your plans before you execute them, and your thoughts before they scatter into the demands of the week.

A God-centered beginning shapes a God-guided week. You do not walk into the unknown alone, you walk into it with the One who already knows the end from the beginning.

Prayer:
Lord, I place this new week before You. Order my steps, guide my thoughts and align my heart with Your will. Let Your presence lead me in all I do. In Jesus’ name, I pray, AMEN.

Action:
Begin your day with intentional prayer before any major activity. Write down one key focus you are trusting God with this week.
