Friendly Game: The Heavenly Harps outtune Zamar Collective at Kyambogo

Off the stage, outside the studio and out of the practice room, Zamar Collective and The Heavenly Harps (THH) meant for a friendly game.

The Heavenly Harps registered a well-deserved 4-0 victory against Zamar Collective in a friendly game at Kyambogo Playground on Sunday evening.

During a sunny evening, the two choirs met to shake off training fatigue, play football and bond as two ministries in God’s vineyard.

Even though the playground was not the best, the crowd enjoyed two teams trying to play some good football.

The Heavenly Harps turned up with the bigger crowd after rallying a good number of associates and honorary members.

On the other hand, Zamar’s small crowd made their presence felt as they kept pushing their boys even when they kept leaking in goals.

Witnessing THH’s Pr Caleb Mbabaali’s game intelligence was an eye-catching moment with good passes, dribbles and powerful shots from distance.

Despite a bad day in office, Samuel Lukwago provided crucial energetic component, with timely recoveries to back track but also start play from the back.

After the gruelling encounter, the two choirs and the crowd joined in a devotional moment led by Pr Mbabaali, where he commended the act of unity.

“I am so happy to see two youthful choirs meeting in a friendly moment. I hope it’s not the last of the kind,” he said.

The smiling man of God also asked the two choirs to be more creative and improve the style of work at large.

“I am talking to youth. Kindly be creative and ensure that God’s work is done in a much improved manner so that it’s given the attention to detail needed.”
