“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.” — Proverbs 3:5
Reflection:
As we roll into the week with a quiet invitation to trust God more deeply than before. Not partially, not when it is convenient, but fully. Trust means placing your plans, uncertainties, and expectations into His hands, even when you cannot see how everything will unfold.
Often, we lean on our own understanding because it feels safer. We try to calculate outcomes, control situations, and predict results. Yet God calls us beyond that limited view into a life of surrender. His perspective is higher, His wisdom deeper, and His timing perfect.
Trust does not eliminate questions, but it steadies the heart in the middle of them. It allows you to move forward with peace, knowing that God is guiding every step—even the ones that feel uncertain.
As you step into this new week, remember: you are not responsible for knowing everything, only for trusting the One who does.
Prayer:
Lord, I choose to trust You with all my heart today. Help me release the need to understand everything and rest in Your wisdom and guidance.
Action:
Identify one decision or concern you’ve been trying to control. Surrender it to God in prayer and choose to trust Him with the outcome.
