The Central Uganda Conference (CUC) Communication Department has been the busiest office since the new term got underway.
In one of the latest developments, the CUC communications department has unveiled a quarterly magazine named The Seer.
After a spell of tireless curation, prayer, and design, the vision finally took a visible form. When Communications Director Justus Perez finally rolled out the first edition, it was not only a magazine but a new chapter of the conference’s identity.
The Seer marks a strategic shift in how the CUC communicates with its members and the wider world. In his keynote as the chief editor, Perez emphasised that the publication is designed to be more than a collection of pages. It is a beacon of clarity in a noisy digital age.

By grounding its content in the prophetic calling to discern God’s purpose, the magazine aims to bridge the gap between high-level leadership vision and the everyday lives of families in the pews.
The introduction of The Seer serves as a powerful engine for the conference’s publicity and outreach. Here is how the magazine will transform the CUC’s public presence:
A Unified Voice: Previously, departmental activities might have felt isolated. The Seer brings together voices of faith, scholarship, and community service into one cohesive narrative, showing the world a united CUC.
Showcasing Impact: From rural outreach programs to urban youth initiatives, the magazine provides a dedicated platform to share testimonies of transformation. This social proof validates the conference’s work to partners and stakeholders.
Educational Authority: By featuring scholarly reflections and leadership insights, the CUC positions itself as a thought leader in Uganda’s spiritual and social landscape.
Global Reach: While rooted in Central Uganda, the magazine’s high-quality digital and print distribution enables the CUC’s mission to inspire readers far beyond its geographical borders.

Central to the unveiling was the reminder that this publication is a tool for servant leadership. Referencing the heart of David in Psalm 78:72, the editorial team made it clear that The Seer is not a platform for self-glory or titles but a manual for integrity of heart and skilful hands.
“May The Seer be more than a publication. May it be a movement of inspired hearts and transformed minds.” Justus Perez noted.
The Seer is now the official storyteller of the CUC. Whether it is documenting a conference-wide camporee, explaining a new theological insight, or profiling a local community hero, the magazine ensures that the light of the CUC’s activities will no longer be hidden under a bushel, but set on a stand for all to see.
The journey has just begun. With its blend of spiritual depth and practical relevance, The Seer is set to become the heartbeat of CUC’s communication strategy for years to come.
